Marketing Manager

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a vital role in growing and engaging UWP’s donor base in the mission of ensuring clean water for Uganda today, tomorrow, and forever. You’ll do this by creating attractive, empowering, and compelling social media, website, email, and written communications. Partnering with staff and volunteers, you’ll learn how to best interact with our UWP Tribe and locate new Tribe members, as well as increase awareness and action towards solving the water crisis affecting millions of Ugandans.

Executive Assistant & Events Manager

As the Executive Assistant to Ugandan Water Project’s CEO, James Harrington, you’ll manage a constantly changing schedule and oversee all incoming and outgoing requests. As the Events Manager, you’ll help execute events and coordinate a network of volunteers that advance the mission of Ugandan Water Project, and build connections with donors and partners. Your primary job will be to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the CEO.

CAMPAIGN & EVENTS INTERNSHIP

Roll up your sleeves and get involved in all the behind-the-scenes details that make UWP’s fundraising a success. Working with our Event Coordinator, you will help plan, execute, and evaluate our fall/spring campaigns and events.

 

FINANCE & ACCOUNTING Internship

As the Finance & Accounting Intern, you’ll engage in the practical application of financial theory to a non-profit, international humanitarian organization. You will help manage the day-to-day donations as well as the organization’s yearly budget. 

COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS Internship

Work with our Director of Community Partnerships to cultivate new relationships with school and faith communities in the United States and and leverage existing ones to mobilize individuals across the United States to engage in solving Uganda’s water crisis.

Marketing & Communications Internshiip

Learn to be the voice & face of the organization as youu have a direct hand in communicating with donors about their impact, engaging our social media followers, and sharing the mission of UWP in creative, engaging, ways.
