This year, the 7th grade students at Greece Olympia Middle School are setting out to change the world in just two weeks! In the fall semester, these students read the book, “A Long Walk to Water,” an incredible story of two kids in Sudan walking to fetch water every day.
To take what they’ve learned in class and apply it to the real-world, the students and administration have partnered with UWP to provide a Rainwater Collection System at a school in Uganda! Over the next few weeks, the students will be taking what they’ve learned about the water crisis and advocating for students just like them half a world away who must leave school and sacrifice time in the classroom to walk for water. Will you consider supporting them in their efforts?
P.S. – If you are donating on behalf of a specific student, please include their name in the ‘Student Fundraiser Name’ line on the donation page!
