Who am I supporting if I send money?

Starting the Ugandan Water Project has proven to be one of the most rewarding things we’ve done with our lives.  When I speak to people about the needs in Uganda and share stories of communities that have been impacted by our work, I get a lot of questions.

Do you do this full time?

I am excited that I get to say, “yes” to this question.  You may be among the many people who then wonder how it all works – if our goal is to secure funding for the communities we serve in Uganda, then how do I manage to make sure that my family gets 3 meals a day and has a roof over our heads.  The answer is simple – we’re not alone, we have you.

People like you that realize that before anything gets built 8,000 miles away, there are emails and phone calls and meetings.  There’s research and planning and budgeting to do.  There’s websites to update, photos to sort through, video footage to edit, and printed materials to create.  There’s gas, groceries, electricity, and a water bill.
People like you choose to support this organization as a Monthly Partner so that we can continue to grow, continue to increase awareness, continue to serve the poor in Uganda. Monthly Partners are the glue that make this all happen.  Monthly Partners are the ones who make sure we have what we need to keep going.
